Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Stripko is operated by IT TARMAN, računalniške storitve, d. o. o., Planina pod Golico 52, 4270 Jesenice, registration number 8631280000, VAT ID SI99595893. Contact: [email protected].

2. What the service does

Stripko turns your idea into a printable comic for children who are learning to read, using artificial intelligence.

3. Account and age

Only an adult (18+) may create an account. Children do not use the service independently. You confirm you are an adult at sign-up.

4. Credits

5. Acceptable use

You may not create sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content, impersonate real people, or depict a real identifiable child. See the Acceptable Use policy.

6. Content rights and responsibility for your input

The comics you create are yours for personal, non-commercial use and printing. We retain the right to store content in order to operate the service.

You are responsible for your own input. By submitting an idea you warrant that you hold the rights necessary for it, and that its use infringes no copyright, trade mark or other right of any third party.

The service does not check whether you hold rights to the characters, names or worlds you describe. If you include characters from protected franchises in your story, that is your decision and your responsibility: you may not publish such a comic, reproduce it for third parties, or use it commercially. If a third party brings a claim against us because of your input, you will reimburse us for the resulting costs.

7. Limitation of liability

Content is AI-generated and may be wrong. Review it before printing. We are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law

The law of the Republic of Slovenia applies. Slovenian courts have jurisdiction. As a consumer you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.

9. Artificial intelligence

Stories and illustrations are produced by AI models. This is stated before generation starts, in the footer of every printed comic and in the PDF metadata.

For every story and image we record what produced it, so provenance is always answerable. Images may carry an invisible provenance marking; we deliberately do not strip it or re-encode images in a way that would destroy it.

Content can be wrong, inaccurate or odd. Review it before printing. You are always the one who decides whether a story is right for your child.

This section satisfies the transparency obligations of Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
